Reward for the Walk
I think people have a set idea in their mind that traveling means going a far distance. That if we travel it is to a new state or country. Why can't it mean going just an hour or two and finding a new place we have never been before? Living in coastal Georgia for two years, I mainly stayed and visited places I had always gone. However, at the start of 2020, I set out and made it goal to go inland and compare the landscape. Even though I stayed within the Georgia boarders, the landscape went from sea level swamps to higher mountain elevations. By only going a few miles at the end of my journey the walk was truly rewarding.

If you enjoyed these images, this is just a brief look at an entire series. In my book, Reward for the Walk, there are much more images that showcase Georgia's natural beauty. It is available for purchase now on Blurb.com.
